Parents of our 2012 Alaskan Malamute litter
Our second litterWe plan our second litter during this summer.
After the success of our first litter, we plan our second litter with a different sire.
"Black Kodiak Of Mountain Pack" gave us an great result with our first puppies.
But I want to do one litter with "Du chêne des Marais" blood line, because it's a blood line that I find ideal for working dog. Particularly, the puppies would be less tall, but with Nature, nothing is sure.
I contacted Michelle Duthil, well known in the Malamute world, and she proposed me to do a litter with hisw dog Tabiatiak Inuit's Flag Seeker which has "Du chêne des Marais" blood.
Tabiatiak is not very young, and thus we have decided to do a sperm analyse in order to be sure that the cover gives something. The analyse is very good, and the cover would result with puppies.
Tabiatiak is not only very beautiful, but also he has all documents that proves that he will give an excellent litter.
- hip dysplasia : A
- elbow dysplasia : 1
- eyes defect: free
- genecaly identified
- Bosnie Herzegovine champion
The puppies will conform to the guidelines of AMCF, l'Alaskan Malamute Club de France : mating was done between :
Tabiatiak Inuit's Flag Seeker
Dysplasia A, free of eyes defects, valuation 1
Coleen River Du Clan d'Ukiok
Dysplasia A, free of eyes defects, valuation 2
Puppies valuation was 2 + 2 = 4 and a pedigree preview of the litter is available.
During the end of the week of June 4 to 8, Coleen was covered by Tabiatiak once and we performed two inseminations to 2 days for the safe side.
The vet was optimistic, and we should know if Coleen is full during the week of July 2 to 6, weeks during which we will conduct a X-ray, to also determine the number of puppies.
After the X-ray, we will open bookings.
Whelping is planned between 6 and 9 August 2012.
